Noel Guilfoyle Rip: Missing Person Found Dead

Offaly resident Noel Guilfoyle, 45, went missing from his Tullamore home on Tuesday. Police officers discovered a dead man’s body on Saturday (June 10) and stand down looking for Noel.

Authorities have requested information that could help them locate Noel. After Gardai found a body in Galway, the search for the Offaly man was halted.

In a statement released Saturday night, a Garda spokesperson stated that following the discovery of a man’s body in County Galway on June 10, 2023 (Saturday), an appeal about missing person for Noel Guilfoyle has been cancelled.

An Garda Síochána thanked the media and the public for their help.

On Thursday, Garda issued a call for information to assist in finding Noel, saying “Garda and Noel’s family are worried about his health,” along with details about Noel and where he was last seen.

The heartbreaking message of Noel Guilfoyle’s wife Chantelle Guilfoyle

Noel Guilfoyle’s wife, Chantelle, shared a heartbreaking message for him on social media on Friday as the search was still ongoing.

The worried husband wrote that Noel’s loved ones were waiting for him with open arms. They were just waiting for him to enter the house.

Chantelle added: “We have, are and will always love and cherish you with all our heart and soul. She also hailed Noel as the best husband, father, son, brother, grandchild, co-worker and friend in the world before saying she can be a little biased but not by much.

Chantelle added that the love flowing from those around them (herself and Noel) is like a giant rainbow of humanity and hope is keeping all of Noel’s loved ones with him.

The grieving wife wants her then-missing spouse to listen deeply and feel as if it were entwining him.

“You are my best friend, my forever person. I need you more than ever to walk our path together,” Chantelle added before saying she doesn’t want to walk without her husband.

Official reports or statements have yet to be released confirming that the body discovered in Galway belongs to Mr. Guilfoyle. But many people have expressed their condolences to Noel’s family.
